A selection of small projects.
We believe in a non-scalar approach to architecture. For us this means that architecture (and urbanism) is the result of the sum of smaller parts and the relation between them in an specific context.
This is a selection of projects inside projects. Small projects where we try to understand forms, functions and processes that are normally taken for granted.
Studio Profile
We are Marina Huguet & Andy Penuela, M.Arch from ETSAV, Barcelona, Spain. Now based in Barcelona, we were once a nomad office.
Work-and-travel gave us the opportunity to collaborate (up-until-today) in countries like Sweden, France, Colombia, USA, Malaysia & Indonesia.
We believe that context shapes form. Our task is to understand the specific context of each project and to work the relationships between detail, material, space & scale.
We train our eyes through photography. We love books. We collect lamps. We are constantly questioning and learning by listening.
